ADDRESSED TO THE COMMUNITY AND THE HOLY EMPIRE OF TEMPLARIA
The Club Penguin army community has reached a crossroads on Club Penguin Journey. Tensions between our armies have only continued to grow following the conclusion of our successful defensive war against the Army of Club Penguin. In their own post on the 9th of June, ACP promised to continue interfering in our community’s activities if we are “found guilty” of a variety of problematic behaviours they outlined. Effectively assuming the role of judge, jury and executioner, the Army of Club Penguin has persisted in its harassment of Templars. What is the condition for this to end? A public apology from us to the broader army community, for a myriad of allegations which vary between absurdity and some that do concern us. We will discuss this matter in detail here.
Beyond the feud between our armies, however, a greater conversation about our place in CP Journey must begin. Since the days of the original game, CPA’s reputation among the Club Penguin player-base has only continued to worsen. There are numerous factors for this, many of which will be detailed in this post, including actions of late that relate to our use of the Club Penguin Reddit page. However, as I will demonstrate today, this is an issue that spans beyond the actions of a single individual or army. Our reputation results from the consistent failure of armies as a whole to recognise that, though we have our internal feuds and wars, all of us are representatives and ambassadors of our community to Club Penguin and its users. Though we endeavour to be seen now as the groups that genuinely enjoy and play this game, armies have continued to inconvenience or disturb the average player to this day. We seek to initiate a dialogue amongst armies to reach an understanding of how we should conduct and present ourselves on Club Penguin Journey, as well as the Club Penguin community as a whole.
