The Todds Are in our Favor

ADDRESSED TO THE COMMUNITY AND THE HOLY EMPIRE OF TEMPLARIA

Last week, the Army of Club Penguin (ACP) and the Templars  (TCP) participated in the first ever Club Penguin Journey war. Through the wit and might of the Templars Empire, we have walked away unscathed from the War of Clover Aggression. Clearly humiliated by their inability to meaningful impact our CP Journey events, the Clovers have conceded the initial phase of the conflict.

THE ARMY OF CLUB PENGUIN HAS SURRENDERED THEIR CLUB PENGUIN JOURNEY RAID CAMPAIGN

WAR SCORE 5-0-0

Earlier this week, the Army of Club Penguin waged war against the Templars. Their goal was made very clear, the Anti-Club Penguin intended to remove our presence from Club Penguin Journey entirely.

Well, let me make it fully clear: Our goal is to completely get rid of any Templar presence on Club Penguin Journey. We will do anything it takes to achieve it.

Written by Daniel20448, ACP’s Commander-in-Chief

Despite the best efforts of the Army of Club Penguin, their failure to achieve their goal is undeniable. Defeating the Clovers in our first battle, the Templars managed to successfully hold 4 other events throughout the week. While the Clovers have attempted to frame this campaign as a 6–0–0 victory in their favor, they only managed to raid the first battle of the war. We have successfully maintained our top-three position in the Top Ten throughout the entirety of 2026. The Clovers have no claim to victory; the victories of this conflict belong to the Templars. Above all, this war has been a complete embarrassment for the Army of Club Penguin.

While ACP expected an easy win and full control of the servers Blizzard and Sleet, the Templars managed to outsmart our enemy through unscheduled events along with igloo takeovers. The concept of Club Penguin Journey battles is one that excited our leadership. Before the Army of Club Penguin initially raided our room, we were moments away from moving into theirs for a battle. Following the Battle of Blizzard, the Templars were informed that several common raid tactics were in direct violation of CPJ’s Terms of Service (ToS). With this in mind, we felt uncomfortable engaging in a conflict that could ultimately compromise the army community’s use of Club Penguin Journey.

CPJ’s Terms of Service

This stance was solidified in the days following, as the Army of Club Penguin began to increase their presence on Blizzard and Sleet. Wearing hat costumes, the Clovers began suspecting unaffiliated CPJ players as Templars members. Going as far as to completely cover (through costumes and spam), and in some instances harass random yellow players (there will be more on this in a later post). Our leadership was conflicted, in a CPPS community that already views armies in a negative light, we did not want to further contribute to this by responding with our own raids against ACP. Additionally, the only way to successfully combat ACP’s raids would be through tactics we knew violated the ToS. We made the responsible decision to instead avoid ACP to the best of our ability. We knew this would likely be met with the Army of Club Penguin considering our rescheduled events complete victories. However, our relationship with Club Penguin Journey players was not one we were willing to compromise over this war.

Through some trial and error, we discovered that players I have ignored were unable to access my igloo. The solution became obvious, Todd resurrection at my iggy! It only took two Todd igloo events before the Army of Club Penguin realized that these raids were a toddal waste of their time.

Following Todd’s successful heist of priceless art pieces, ACP leader Daniel announced within their Discord that no additional Club Penguin Journey raids would be taking place. Instead, they would be raiding any event Templars would hold on CPA: Battleground. We gladly accepted their surrender and eagerly anticipated the upcoming CPAB raids.

PHASE TWO

As Daniel announced there would be a post relating to ACP’s  “change in strategy”, we waited eagerly to read the next edition of the Shamrock Bulletin. Days later, there has still been no post from ACP. The only mention of CPAB raids came from the above image taken from ACP’s main chat. Eventually we moved to schedule our own CPAB event, knowing it would be raided by the Army of Club Penguin.

Originally posted on May 4th (for us Aussies), reposted the next day for a ping

Given that this event was implied by ACP themselves to be a raided training during the next phase of their war, we saw no reason to post this in the CPA Discord with a ping to their leadership. Just like their raids of our Club Penguin Journey events, we assumed these would be organized and scheduled through our respective Discord servers. Our leadership was surprised to see an invasion scheduled (over two days later) in the CPA Discord server along with a pinged request for judging in the CPA Judges Discord. As this was a raid campaign, why would judges be necessary?

ACP’s invasion was posted long after ours was scheduled

In case it wasn’t clear in the other screenshot, Daniel says himself these will be raids of TCP trainings and practice battles

Respectfully, we don’t want judges at our trainings. Events on CPAB are our opportunities to train our army, and we saw ACP’s raids of these as potential for good practice. We are happy to face the Army of Club Penguin anytime we are logged onto CPAB, and we understand that this may last several months. We are excited and eagerly anticipating these raids and we look forward to facing ACP on Saturday. However, given that this conflict takes place off map , and ACP’s own terms did not call for CPAJ’s judging, we decline any and all judging of these raids.

The only term from ACP’s declaration

CPA’s General Battle Terms, which do NOT mention a judging requirement

We look forward to seeing the Army of Club Penguin on Saturday, as scheduled in both of our Discord servers. As ACP’s own war terms do not require judging, the Templars oppose any involvement from CPAJ and CPA regarding this war, with the exception of the General Battle Terms that relate to safety.

If the Army of Club Penguin wishes to move ahead with their judging request, we will simply hold our training on a separate server. Any event that the Army of Club Penguin fails to raid will be considered another Templars victory, as they are failing to meet their objectives. Furthermore, we do not consent to any judge or judging verdict of any raid battle throughout this conflict.

We would prefer to face the Army of Club Penguin head on as scheduled. We have no intentions of “running away” as claimed by the ACP. We will be online as scheduled, it is up to the Clovers whether they decide to show up or not! We understand though if ACP needs CPAJ’s (much appreciated) room summary notes so they can improve for next time! Hopefully we will see the Clovers on the battlefield!
