How Did We Get Here?

The date is 10th October, 2026. The Templars are holding a Practice Battle against the Water Vikings.
For the first time in a few months, there are no judges for this practice battle.
But for the first time ever, Borapenguins isn’t leading.

Room 1 – Audience

Room one was unclear, much like my first few weeks as a Templar. It was clear from the start that I was going to be great, but I stumbled at every given opportunity. I was unsure of my abilities, though people knew I had them. I wanted nothing more than to prove everyone right.

To achieve this dream, I needed help. We needed a successful turnout more than anything, audience members work with. Recruits don’t fall from trees, so I got to work.

Leadership at the time recognized my efforts, instilled the utmost confidence in me, and I ran with it. From dusk until dawn, I would work endlessly at realizing my talents to its fullest potential. Simply put, I stopped at nothing to help grow the army.

Room 2 – Inexperience

There was only ONE problem. To properly lead an army, you need direction. I had none of that, and I ran into so many problems. Despite my inexperience, we would destroy the competition anyway. My support system was immense.

Our troops believed in me all the way, almost to a fault as I often led them directly into the flames of chaos… But Templars stood resilient and so did I. Our Troops were my direction.

Even when I made the “wrong” decision on paper, our troops would rally behind me. That’s what makes the Templars great. It’s also what made us excellent.

Room 3 – Excellence

And how excellent would the Templars become? There would no longer be question about it. The Templars were firmly back in the driver’s seat, ready to take any army down at a moment’s notice. That was until uncertainty struck.

On 27th September, 2026, I was indefinitely banned from the CPABattleground website for inappropriate language. This ban changed my entire psychology regarding how I should use my influence moving forward. It has not been long, but the effects have been heavy.

But despite my ban, the army that I had spent a full year taking part in building back up had shown signs of self-sufficiency. I was leading every battle up until this point so that on a day where I would eventually fall absent, the same people who stood beside me would rise to the occasion. That day was today against the Water Vikings.

I feel immense pride in my army for taking care of business today given the unfamilliar conditions. As we pummelled through our competition today, I bittersweetly cheered from the sidelines. I’m currently not allowed on the battlefield, and I’m not able to freely celebrate my 1-Year Anniversary of Leadership…. but I’m so proud of this what this army has become. I’m proud to see a year’s worth of hard work materialize. Last but not least, I’m looking to return as soon as I’m ready.

October 7th: [US] CPAB Sidie Says
Max Size: 21
This indefinite suspension has been equal parts challenging and fulfilling for me. I get to focus on the things that I never really did before I got banned. I take better care of my mental and physical health now. I also get to focus on our staff team much more to get them involved.

JmWarrior has been a beneficiary of this lately, really coming into his own as a Leader-in-Training. My absence, though sudden, helped to boost his overall leading reps. This period of nonstop responsibility for leadership duties will provide invaluable experience for him.

For Sidie9, it’s the perfect time for her to show why She is once again The Most Important Leader of our Generation. Many count us out as an army already. Even more people count Sidie9 out. They will never understand a leader so powerful. Spectators should be paying just to watch her lead, but alas… here we are. Nobody is ready for the flow state that Sidie9 is about to enter again. Thankfully, I’ll be watching it all unfold with a courtside view.

As far as my future, I’m just glad to be a witness.
I want to deeply thank Sidie9 and JmWarrior for leading these CPAB events in my absence.
It’s going to be a long winter.
Non nobis Domine.
