Club Penguin Journey features a variety of secrets that you may not know about! Though some of these existed in the original Club Penguin, the CP Journey developers have added secret items, stamps, and rooms that are exclusive to their game only! These hidden features remain in the game all throughout the year, so you have plenty of time to collect any item you may be missing. As 2026 is officially upon us, let’s go over each secret and hidden feature available for you to discover!

There are few catalogs around the island that you may not know about! These items usually remain the same all year, so there’s always an opportunity to grab them.

How to Become a Penguin Secret Agent Guide

Access to this catalog requires you to become a Penguin Secret Agent. Head to the PSA Headquarters and open the F.I.S.H handbook to view the items on Page Four.

[SECRET] Night-Vision Goggles – 1,000 coins

Martial Artworks Catalog

Location – Ninja Hideout

Once you have ranked up to Black Belt and have beaten Sensei in Card-Jitsu, you’ll gain access to the Ninja Hideout! Once inside you can purchase items from the Martial Artworks Catalog. These items are only available to penguins who have earned all of their Card-Jitsu belts, so you can flex these items around the island!

Club Penguin Journey features five Game Upgrades which enhance your mini-game experience! Some of these upgrades are simply cosmetic, however there are a few that will improve your gameplay! Let’s go over each of them.

 

Sled Racing

Location – Ski Hill

Toboggan – 300 coins
Pink Racing Sled – 300 coins
Green Racing Sled – 300 coins

Ice Fishing

Location – Ice Pond

Flashing Lure Fishing Rod – 200 coins

Note: The Flashing Lure Fishing Rod is needed to complete all the Ice Fishing stamps!

There are two hidden pins you can find in Club Penguin Journey! Collecting these will allow you to unlock the doors to two secret rooms!

 

Rockhopper’s Key

Location – Book Room 

The Bookroom features The Journal of Captain Rockhopper. Rockhopper’s Key is hidden on the last page! This key can be used to unlock the Captain’s Quarters on The Migrator!

Moss Key

Location – Accessed Through Puffle Rescue (Mines)

The Moss Key Pin is accessed through the Black Puffle levels of Puffle Rescue. Once you’ve rescued the puffle in the first level, a giant squid will spawn. Follow the squid while using the bubbles to stay afloat! You’ll eventually reach a coral reef, simply follow the path to reach the Underwater room. Once inside, you’ll be able to collect the Moss Key Pin. The key can be used to unlock the door in the Hidden Lake, which gives you access to the Underwater room!

Jigsaw Jam Completionist Pin

Location – The Lookout (Accessed through the Tour HQ)

You can earn the Jigsaw Jam Completionist Pin by completing every Jigsaw Jam puzzle. This is very time consuming but rewarding if you are wishing to earn the cute pin! Once every puzzle is done, click the pin icon on the top left hand corner of the game to collect the pin!

There are a variety of secret items available on Club Penguin Journey! These items are always available, so be sure to collect any you haven’t found yet! Calling all stamp collectors! Three of these items earn you an extreme stamp!

 

Viking Helmets

Location: Gift Shop Catalog, Penguins at Work Page

To unlock and purchase the Viking, Blue Viking, Gold Viking, and Neon Purple Viking Helmets, you’ll need to click on the ‘Penguins at Work’ symbol a specific number of times. These helmets are featured in every edition of the Penguin Style Catalog!

Solid Gold Viking

Location: The Stage

Finding the Solid Gold Viking Helmet unlocks a stamp for your stamp book! Simply head to the stage and press these specific buttons on the Switchbox 3000 to collect it!

Gold Bunny Slippers

Location: Boiler Room

You’ll need to throw snowballs in a particular order to unlock the drawer containing the Golden Slippers.

Goldstache

Location: Cove

To collect the Goldstache head to the Cove and click on the binoculars! Wait for the yellow fish to appear and then click your screen to unlock the Goldstache!

Gold Surfboard

Location: Cove

The Gold Surfboard is located in the Game Upgrades catalog at the Cove. While the Game Upgrades page is open, click the following letters: ‘G’ in game, ‘O’ in surfboard, ‘L’ in while, ‘D’ in holding, ‘E’ in get, and ‘N’ in the word in. This spells out ‘Golden’ which will give you the opportunity to collect the Gold Surfboard!

Friendship Bracelet

Location: Book Room

The Friendship Bracelet is hidden within the Rockhopper and the Stowaway book! Flip to the final page of the book to collect the free item!

Club Penguin Journey features four hidden rooms for you to visit! Two of these are exclusive to Club Penguin Journey so make sure to check them out!

 

Underwater Room

Using the Moss Key we collected earlier, you can access the Underwater Room through the Hidden Lake! First, head to the Forest and use your cursor to move the boulder to reveal a ladder to the Hidden Lake. This room can also be accessed to the right of the Cave Mine.

Captain’s Quarters

The Ship Hold can only be accessed during Rockhopper’s visits! Using Rockhopper’s Key (we discovered this earlier in the post!) the Ship Hold can be accessed through the Migrator!

Old Boiler Room

Hidden within the Boiler Room, you can access the Old Boiler Room! Click on the Boiler to jump to the room. This room is exclusive to Club Penguin Journey!

Gift Shop Office

Head through the door at the bottom left of the Gift Shop to access the Gift Shop Office! This room is exclusive to Club Penguin Journey!

There is one hidden game hiding in the Book Room!

 

Infinite Tower

This game was featured during the Medieval Party of 2025! You can access this game anytime through the shelf in the Book Room.

After completing each Penguin Secret Agent mission in the PSA Headquarters, you’ll gain access to the Elite Penguin Force! Club Penguin Journey has released Operation: Mayday which is a game exclusive EPF Mission. Through completing it, you can gain access to a background and two pins!

 

Herbert Background

Once you complete Operation: Mayday, you will unlock Herbert’s Operation Mayday Giveaway Background.

Expedition Key

During the mission, you’ll collect and use the Expedition Key to access Herbert’s Lair. Once the mission is over you get to keep it as a pin!

Hardware Destroyer

The Hardware Destroyer will help you complete your mission! After you’re done, you get to keep it as a pin!
