Ice Fishing is a classic minigame featured on all Club Penguin Private Servers! This iconic and relaxing game is a great way to unwind and earn coins. The goal is to catch as many fish as you can, all while avoiding enemies or other obstacles! In this guide we will go over the basics of Ice Fishing, and how to obtain every stamp!

Before You Get Started
Game Location
In Club Penguin Journey, the Ice Fishing minigame is located at the Ice Pond, accessed through the Ski Lodge.
Flashing Lure Fishing Rod
You will need the Flashing Lure Fishing rod in order to obtain the Gray Goodies Stamp and the Ace Angler Stamp. It can be purchased at the Ice Pond for 200 coins
Tips & Tricks
Catchable Fish
Fluffy the Fish
These are the main fish you’ll see throughout the game. Each one you catch is worth 4 coins (8 coins if you have all the stamps)
Gray Fish
These fish can only be caught if you have a Flashing Lure Fishing Rod equipped when you enter the game. These fish are difficult to catch, as they will wait a few seconds before swimming to a catchable location. These fish are the most profitable, each one you catch is worth 8 coins (16 coins if you have all the stamps).
Notes:
- If the gray fish is swimming in from the top of the page, it will swim to the bottom. You can catch it here!
- If the gray fish is swimming in from the middle, it will zoom straight ahead for you to catch!
Mullet
The Mullet appears after you’ve caught 60 fish. Once it’s appeared, 3 more fish will spawn, and you can catch two of these. Your third fish should be used as bait, hold it in the center of the water to catch the mullet! A 100 coin bonus is added to your score once the fish has been caught.
Enemies
Jellyfish
Jellyfish are the first enemy to spawn after you’ve caught 5 fish. They are present throughout the entire game. Jellyfish will sting and cause you to lose your worm if they’ve hit your line.
Shark
Sharks are the second enemy to appear after you’ve caught 19 fish. Sharks will bite and cause you to lose your worm if they’ve hit your line
Crab
Crabs are the third enemy to appear after you’ve caught 37 fish. Crabs will walk under the ice and cut your line, causing you to lose a worm
Items
Barrels
Barrels will knock fish off your hook. Avoid them!
Boots
Boots will kick fish off your hook (literally!). Avoid them!
Can of Worms
Hitting a can of worms with your line gives you an extra worm!
All Stamps
There are 10 Ice Fishing stamps for you to collect! Once you’ve obtained all of them, you will earn double coins each time you play the game.
Easy: 1
Medium: 2
Hard: 6
Extreme: 1
Easy
Snack Attack Stamp
This stamp is really simple to earn! All you need to do is catch a fish and have a shark bite your fishing line. Sharks will begin spawning after you have caught 19 fish.
Medium
Shock King Stamp
To obtain this stamp you will need to be stung by jellyfish three times, losing all of your worms. Afterwards, you’ll have to play the game until the end to get the stamp. If you quit the game it won’t count! The jellyfish begin spawning after you have caught 5 fish.
Fishtastic Stamp
To earn this stamp you’ll need to catch 15 fish without making any mistakes. You can catch both yellow and gray fish for this stamp! Be extra careful and ensure that your fish aren’t knocked off the line by barrels or boots, any mistake will reset this quest!
Hard
Worm Win Stamp
Completing this stamp is a challenge! You’ll need to complete an entire game without losing a single worm. We’re sorry to disclose that 1-Up worms do not count. If you lose any worms at all you’ll need to start again.
Crab Cuts Stamp
To complete this stamp quest, you will need to finish the game after your fishing line has been cut by crabs 3 times. If you leave the game before finishing it completely, you will need to redo the quest.
Afishionado Stamp
This game is similar to the Fishtastic stamp! You’ll need to catch 45 fish without making a single mistake. Take your time with this one! It’s meant to be tricky but with patience you’ll have it done in no time.
Grey Goodies Stamp
Required Item: Flashing Lure Fishing Rod
Equip your Flashing Lure Fishing Rod and start the game! To earn this stamp you need to catch 15 gray fish in one game. You must use the Flashing Lure Fishing Rod for the gray fish to spawn.
Prize Mullet Stamp
To earn this stamp you’ll need to catch the mullet fish! The mullet is the big red fish that appears at the end of the game. Once you’ve caught 60 fish, you’ll see the mullet swimming in the background of the game.
Quickly catch a yellow fish to use as bait! Hold it in the center of the water and wait for the mullet to bite.
Fly Fisher Stamp
This stamp is a timed challenge, you’ll need to complete the game in 5 minutes to earn it. We recommend setting a timer on your phone, computer, or device when playing so you’ll know how much time has passed. If you go over the time limit, simply restart and try again!
Extreme
Ace Angler Stamp
Required Item: Flashing Lure Fishing Rod
This final stamp has a few steps. First, you’ll need to complete an entire game without any lives lost. Throughout the game, you’ll also need to catch 15 gray fish and the mullet at the end! Once you’ve fulfilled these requirements you’ll earn the final stamp!
