Templars of Club Penguin

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves” (Matthew 7:15).

As is known by many members of the Club Penguin army community, the Secret Service (SS) are a group that have recently returned earlier this month. Being mostly irrelevant during its lifespan, the army reached the peak of its relevance after losing to the People’s Imperial Confederation (PIC) in the 2021 Challengers Cup 2 semi-finals. One of SS’s veterans, JoelFreak, has been traversing the army community for the past several months. Whether it be during the attempted Marines revival, his time in PIC or with Water Vikings, Joel has consistently made his hate for Templars known.

I personally have no issues with Joel as an individual. We have spent time together in voice chats, and I tried to assist him with Marines. However, as the main leader of this army, I would be an idiot to not recognise his intentions for the future. Joel has a history of constantly insulting the Templars, even in situations that are completely irrelevant. So many of my interactions with Joel have referenced Templars in some capacity, it reaches a point that I am concerned he may genuinely have an obsession. He seems to hate TCP almost as much as Lord Pain hates the Army of Club Penguin (ACP). It is needless to say that an army led by him would aim to target us, which is why we must crush them first.

In an obvious attempt to expand their influence, the Secret Service is collaborating with the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) and others to form an alliance. Referring to themselves as the “International United Alliance“, which might be the most generic name of all time, the alliance uses one another to boost sizes at events. Though this is not criminal by any means, this behaviour certainly inflates public perceptions of growth and creates the illusion of strength. The Templars are no strangers to shattering spheres of influence, and we will not allow for a sphere of influence that rehabilitates our SWAT enemies.

Once World War IX ended in 2023, the armies of the Sapphire Concordat agreed that we would protect one another if the need arose once more. TCP, ACP and PIC joined together as the United Front Alliance last December for the Christmas Crusade, and cooperation between our armies has remained strong. After reconvening to address mutual concerns, we have determined that a swift removal of SS from the CPA server map is the appropriate course of action.

The Sapphire Concordat, consisting of the Army of Club Penguin, People’s Imperial Confederation and Templars, hereby declares war on the Secret Service. This hereby initiates the July Jeopardy War.

We will be assisting the People’s Imperial Confederation in the Invasion of Migrator on Friday the 12th of July, 2024 at 9:00 AM EST.

War Terms:

I. Allies are permitted in this conflict, unless said ally’s attendance contradicts a non-aggression pact with the invading army.
II. Similarly, duel enlists are permitted. The exception to this is if the duel enlist also serves an army engaged in a non-aggression pact with the invading army.
III. Server transfers are forbidden.
IV. All Club Penguin Armies map rules must be followed throughout every battle in the war. This includes no large uniforms to give either side an advantage.
V. In addition, no ‘toxic’ tactics will be allowed in battle, or in the pre room. Tactics referencing someone’s identity in any way that can be interpreted as derogatory, or offensive, are not permitted. This include a person’s age, sex, gender identity, sexuality, race, religion, identifiable personal information (name, address, telephone numbers, general location, etc.)
VI. War battles are to take place on Club Penguin Army Battleground.
VII. Per Club Penguin Armies map rules, the invading army must give 24 hours notice prior to an invasion taking place. Likewise, judges must be requested with 24 hours notice as well.
VIII. Club Penguin Army Battleground rules apply to all tactics across all battles in this conflict.
IX. Armies in this conflict that lose all of their land are subject to a force treaty, issued by the army that claimed their capital.
X. Armies engaged in this conflict are prohibited from merging or rebranding until this conflict is over.
XI. Any attempt to exploit loopholes will constitute a forfeit of this war. A force treaty will be applied in this case and your land surrendered.
