Methods

Coinmaxxing

The best way to get your money’s worth out of your Club Penguin Journey binge is to COINMAXX! Here are a few ways to ensure you are getting the most bang for your buck.

Stamps

On your mission to becoming a Club Penguin billionaire, stamps are your new best friend. Collecting all the stamps in a minigame hits you with a double coin multiplier at the end of each round. Basically, more stamps = more coins = penguin built different. Below we’ve dropped the links to our favorite stamp walkthroughs, you’ll be a stamp GOD in no time.

Double Coins Weekend

Every month when Club Penguin Journey drops the newest Penguin Style catalog, a double coin weekend hits. That means every time you finish a minigame, your coins get DOUBLED! Shush we aren’t done yet. If you’ve collected all the stamps in that minigame, your coins go quadruple mode (4x.) You heard us correctly, 4x! Your coin stash is about to look absolutely insane.

Minigames

Catchin’ Waves

Location: Cove

To max out your coins in Catchin’ Waves, you’re gonna need two must-have items.

Red Puffle: You’ll earn 3 extra points each time you jump
Silver Surfboard: Let’s you jump higher, you’ll earn extra points!

If you’re experienced and have all the stamps, this is hands-down the fastest way to earn coins. The Silver Surfboard lets you jump really high, so spam as many tricks as you can in the air.  The controls take awhile to learn, so use Surf Lesson mode until you’ve got it down. By the time you’ve grabbed every stamp, you’ll basically master the game. You’ll earn the most coins in Freestyle mode, as this let’s you do whatever moves you want. As long as you’re on the Silver Surfboard, the coins just keep coming.

Cart Surfer

Location: Inside of Mine

Cart Surfer is easily the fastest, easiest coin farm—no debate. Put even a little time into this game and your coins will start stacking fast. If you’ve got all the stamps, it’s even more efficient since you get double coins. Easy bank growth. The game is simple, perform tricks on your minecart and farm as many points as possible. Here are some solid tips to help you earn way more coins per run without much extra effort.

Moves:

There are a bunch of moves in Cart Surfer, but these are the only ones worth doing if you’re trying to farm coins.

Back-Flip: Press the down arrow on your keyboard and then the spacebar – 100 points
Side-Flip: Press the spacebar and then the left or right arrow on your keyboard = 80 points
Corner Grind: Press the down arrow, and then either the left or right arrow (depending on which way the corner is going) – 80 points

Note: Repeating the same moves over and over again cuts the points in half! (Massive L) Make sure you are alternating moves.

Crash Bonus:

As the Club Penguin Founding Fathers once said, “let there be a crash bonus.” Okay, yeah—that’s a lie, they didn’t say this. But the Penguin Pioneers before us tested it and found out that crashing on purpose actually gives you an extra corner, meaning more time to farm points. We recommend intentionally crashing on the 2nd turn, and then the 7th turn. This will give you some extra time to collect more coins!

With the right moves, you can easily pull 300–450 coins per run. Experienced players? They’re probably cashing in even more. Just stick to the high-scoring tricks (like the ones above) and mix them up for max coins. In one game of Cart Surfer we were able to earn 544 coins, and these were doubled (1088 coins!) because we have all the stamps!

Ice Fishing

Location: Ice Pond, Accessed Through the Ski Lodge

If you want to max out your coins, grab the Flashing Lure Fishing Rod from the Ice Pond. It lets you catch gray fish, and they sell for 8 coins each—easy money.

Coin grinding in this game actually goes kinda hard but don’t forget, having all the stamps = double coins. If you’re using the Flashing Lure Fishing Rod, there are three different fish you can catch. Below, we break down each fish and how many coins they’re worth.

Yellow Fish: 4 coins each (8 with all of the stamps)
Gray Fish: 8 coins each (16 with all of the stamps)
Mullet Fish: 100 coins (200 with all of the stamps)

Pro tip: equip the Flashing Lure Fishing Rod before you start and lock in on gray fish only. They’re rarer and difficult to catch but it’s 100% worth it. Even pulling 20 gray fish gets you an extra 320 coins per game if you have collected all of the stamps. For reference, we ran one Ice Fishing game, caught 15 gray fish + the mullet, and walked out with 412 coins—or 824 coins with stamps. Absolute coin farm.

Coffee Shop

Lock in? Nah you need to clock in. No free uniform though, you’ll need to purchase the Coffee Apron from the Newspaper. Wear it before you begin working!

Wear your apron and head to the Coffee Shop! Penguins order coffee with the E + C coffee emote. A cup will pop up on the counter—run, grab it, and dash it back to the penguin. Done. Easy coins. You can earn anywhere between 30 and 90 coins per order! There’s a short cooldown, then rinse and repeat for even more cash. There are stamps for the Coffee job, if you collect them all you’ll earn double coins!

Pizza Parlor

Once again there’s no free uniform, you’ll need to purchase the Chef’s Hat and Pizza Apron from the Newspaper. Put them on before you start cooking or it’s a no-go. No uniform=no coins.

Wear your apron and head to the Pizza Parlor! Penguins order pizza with the E + Z pizza emote. A pizza will pop up on the counter—run, grab it, and dash it back to the penguin. Done. Easy coins. You can earn anywhere between 30 and 90 coins per order! There’s a short cooldown, then rinse and repeat for even more cash. There are stamps for the Pizza job, if you collect them all you’ll earn double coins!

Secret Agent

Becoming a Penguin Secret Agent nets you 250 coins every month! Not huge, but it’s literally free money—no extra effort is required.

Tour Guide

Becoming a Tour Guide also earns you 250 coins every month! Again, not huge, but it’s literally free money—no extra effort is required.

AFK Mining

Drill baby drill! Mine at the Mine or Iceberg to earn coins. You can be AFK, but it takes longer. If you are relying on this for your sole method of coin earning, better settle in… it’s gonna be a looong grind. This can take quite awhile but it is by far the way to farm coins with minimal effort.

Tip: Press “D” again every thirty seconds or so for the fastest coin grind—yep, you have to be at your PC for this one. This resets the animation so you’ll keep mining at maximum efficiency.

Wear a helmet and press “D” to start drilling. Make sure you aren’t wearing any other items or you’ll be instantly humbled. You can grab a free helmet from inside of the mine, we love work health and safety.

Iceberg

Mine anywhere on the Iceberg to earn coins. Go get that bag.

Inside Mine

Mine anywhere on the Iceberg and watch the coins roll in. No bad spots, only gains.

Free Puffle Labor

Take your puffle for a walk! If it’s level 5+, it might dig up coins from the ground (they’re built different). Easy little coin boost. If your puffle has found something, you’ll see their cute little digging animation. A treasure chest or a gold coin will appear above their head once they’ve found something. You’ll also see a gold notification at the top of your screen telling you what your puffle found.

After your puffle digs, there is a five minute cooldown. This is not exactly a reliable coin grind, but.… free money is free money.

Puffle Leveling

Puffle leveling is not for the weak. It takes a LOT of grinding, so we’ve outlined the BEST methods to level up your puffle as fast as possible. We hope this saves you time and sanity.
