Happy Halloween Templars! Club Penguin Journey’s Halloween Party is in full swing — from map changes and new quests, to transforming into a ghost and free daily items — there’s a lot to dive into! Read on as we walk you through every quest and how to collect every new item.

Halloween Party Walkthrough

Monster Mash Stamp

First up, we have the Monster Mash stamp! It’s Halloween and it’s time to put on your best costume! Dress up in any costume and you’ll obtain the stamp.

Ghost Island

The first location on our tour is the Beach, where a mysterious Steam Boat is waiting to take you to a spooky island.. Once out at sea, you’ll obtain the Out at Sea Party Stamp!

Once you arrive on the island, head over to the Ghostly Grave, click on it and collect your Ghoulish Transformation item. Now you’ll be able to transform into a ghost which will come in handy later in the post!

Dark Chamber & Haunted House

Room One

Head over to the forest where you will be met with the entrance to the Dark Chamber. Upon entering, you will have to complete a Musical Puzzle to unlock the doors to our next room. Follow the Colourful Smoke Patterns and you will unlock the doors! Completing this will add both the Music Maestro and Party Puzzle stamps to your book. Don’t worry if you struggle, the pattern is listed below!

Red, Blue, Orange, Red

Red, Orange, Blue, Red, Green

Green, Red, Orange, Blue, Red

Room Two

When you enter the next room, you’ll notice it’s dark. Make sure to grab the Free Storm Lantern to light your way through the maze! Follow the route and enter the next room.

Room Three

Room Three follows the same idea as room two. Following the route using your light to complete the maze!

Room Four

Congratulations! You completed the maze and have obtained the Path Finder stamp! Don’t forget to collect your free item and check out the Monster Maker catalog on your way out!

Haunted House

Use the exit and enter the Haunted House to collect another free item! Head up the stairs and grab your free candle!

Halloween Party Quests

Alongside the new rooms and free items above, CPJourney have also released 18 new quests for this party! You’ll be able to meet Rockhopper and hear his ghost stories down at the cove, jam out with the Penguin Band at the iceberg or catch Gary on his travels! Read on as we breakdown how to complete every quest.

Quest One

Find a Hidden Piece of Candy

It’s time for some Trick or Treating! Similar to the Holiday party’s Elf on the Shelf quest line, everyday a new piece of candy will be hidden in one of the many decorated rooms across the island. Only rooms that are accessible to everyone will have a candy piece, so the Ninja Hideout, Fire Dojo and PSA HQ will not be included. Keep an eye out for them, they’re quite small! After finding the candy, click on it and you’ll receive a new free item! Make use to log in everyday so you collect every possible item!

Quest Two

Care for a Pumpkin Puffle at the Puffle Park

Pumpkin Puffles have officially returned! Head down to the Boiler Room and adopt your new pet from the Boiler Room Catalog! Grab your puffle from your igloo and walk them to the Puffle Park behind the Pet Shop. Care for your puffle at any of the stations and you’ll finish this quest!

Quest Three

Go sled racing with a Living Toboggan

While down in the Boiler room adopting your Pumpkin Puffle, pick up the famous Living Toboggan from the Night of the Living Sled series! Head up to the Ski Hill, equip your Living Toboggan and start a game of Sled Racing to finish this quest!

Quest Four

Praise the Orb, again

Last years Giant Orb has returned! Head to the Old Boiler Room, which can be accessed by the Boiler Room’s boiler. The Orb takes up the entire room and all you have to do is show it some love. Press E+H on your keyboard and send it a heart!

Quest Five

Trick or Treat in all the houses at the Snow Forts

Time for some more Trick or Treating! Head over to the Snow Forts and you’ll see a new layout. Trick or Treat at each house by clicking on the door and ringing the bells will help you complete this quest!

Quest Six

Hear a scary story at the Cove

At random hours throughout the day, the Ghost of Rockhopper comes out at the Cove to tell some spooky stories! Click on the clock icon next to the quest log to see when he’s online. Head down to the Cove when Rockhopper comes out and gather around the fire pit to listen to his tales. Your quest is completed once you see Rockhopper haunting penguins! Be sure to click on him to claim a special background!

Quest Seven

Rock Out at the Iceberg Concert

Similar to the Rockhopper quest above, you have to head over to the Iceberg to jam out with the Penguin Band as they perform some Halloween hits! Check the clock icon beside the quest log to see when they are next performing. Keep watch though, as the events are random, so make sure you’re online at the right time and that you receive the Ultimate Fan stamp! Don’t forget to collect your background by clicking on the band when they arrive!

Quest Eight

Dress up with 15 pizzas in the Pizza Parlor

Head into the Gift Shop and purchase the Black and White Pizza costume from the Penguin Style. Wear the item inside the Pizza Parlor with 14 other penguins, you’ll have completed the quest!

Quest Nine

Visit 5 Trick or Treat Igloos

We’re off to go Trick or Treating once again! You need to visit 5 different Trick or Treat igloos created by different penguins. These aren’t just regular igloos, they’re the specific Trick-or-Treat Igloo shown in the picture below. You can search igloos on the map or look for penguins advertising their igloo! Once you have visited five of these igloo, you can move on to Quest Ten!

Quest Ten

Watch all of the Living Sled movies

It’s Movie Night time! For this quest, you have to watch the entire Night of the Living Sled trilogy! You can find the movies in the following rooms: Coffee Shop, Dance Lounge and Lighthouse in that order. All you have to do is enter the room to finish quest ten, but who doesn’t love a thriller? Sit back, relax and enjoy the movies with your penguin pals!

Quest Eleven

Transform into a Ghost

You’ll have noticed earlier how we mentioned to collect the Ghost Penguin transformation when you were at Ghost Island. Well this is why! Now you can transform into a ghost and float around the island as much as you want! Open your player card and click on the ghost transformation icon and you’ll become a ghost, finishing quest eleven.

Quest Twelve

Match at least 4 items with someone in the Lighthouse

Grab a friend or group of penguin pals and head to the Lighthouse to complete this quest! Communicate with each other and dress out in style, but make sure you all match! Buy some items from the Penguin style catalog so that you all have the same clothes and you’ll have this quest done once you match!

Quest Thirteen

Light up the Beacon with 20 Penguins in Ghost Costumes

We’re about to light up the beacon and scare other penguins away! You’ll need to purchase the Ghost Costume and Flashlight, or the Dark Ghost Costume and LCD Flashlight from the Penguin Style to complete this quest. 20 penguins have to wear this outfit and dance on the Lighthouse Beacon to light up the night sky!

Quest Fourteen

Reach the end of the Dark Maze

The Dark Maze starts in the Forest. Head into the Dark Chamber and you’ll see the coloured smoke quiz. Follow the pattern three times and you’ll progress to the next room. Across the next two rooms, work your way through the dark rooms with your lantern to finish in the Monster Room. Arriving in this room will complete quest fourteen.

Quest Fifteen

Make a monster using the catalog in the Lab

Staying in the Monster Room where we finished quest fourteen, open the Monster Maker Catalog to buy items and create your own monster! You’ll need a head item, body item and feet item to complete this quest!

Quest Sixteen

Dance with 20 Alien Abductees in the Club

Aliens have taken over the island and have invaded the Dance Club! Grab the Alien Costume from the Boiler Room Catalog and dress up with 19 other penguins. You’ll need to head over to the Night Club and start dancing on the dance floor to finish this quest!

Quest Seventeen

Go swimming in the Slime Pool with 25 floaty ducks

It’s time for a swim! The Underground Pool has been transformed into a Slime Pool for the event! Grab the Wicked Duck floaty from the Boiler Room Catalog and head in for a swim with your pals! You’ll need 25 penguins standing in the slime with their floaty’s equipped to complete this quest!

Quest Eighteen

Use Ghoul Detectors with 30 Penguins in the Forest

The final quest of the Halloween Party requires you to dress up as a Ghostbuster! Head to the Penguins at Work section of the Penguin Style and purchase the Ghoul Detector outfit. You’ll need to find 29 other penguins to help you complete this quest so grab your friends or users online and head to the Forest. Dance while wearing the outfit and you’ll finish the final quest!

Final Prize

When you complete all the quests in the Scavenger Hunt, you’ll be able to claim a very special background specifically for this party. Go into your quests tab and you’ll be able to click claim and then, congratulations! You have officially completed the Scavenger Hunt!
