Club Penguin Journey: 2025 Anniversary Party Guide

It’s Club Penguin’s 20th Birthday and we all know what that means! It’s party time! Club Penguin Journey have released a new mini-party to celebrate OG Club Penguin’s 20th Anniversary and I’m going to show you how to get all the free items there is to obtain throughout this party!

Free Items – Coffee Shop Rooftop

The Night Club rooftop has had a makeover and now has a big anniversary cake on it. You can access it by going upstairs into the Dance Lounge but we recommend using the shortcut through the Coffee Shop.

When you get onto the rooftop, you’ll find the first two free items; the purple Birthday Baker’s Apron and the 20th Year Alumni Jacket.

Climb to the top of the birthday cake and collect the next four free items!

Waddle into the red wagon to obtain Penguin Chat 3!‘

Click the camera to obtain the background!

Click the party hat atop the 20 statue to obtain this hat!

Waddle over the spilled blue puddle and you can gain the Old Blue colour!

Tour HQ Free Item

When you enter any server, you will spawn in the Welcome Room. Head over to Tour HQ on the left hand side and climb the stairs to reach the lookout. Head over to the birthday cake and collect the Happy Birthday hat!

Birthday Hats Scavenger Hunt

Next up is the Birthday Hats Scavenger Hunt! All over the island, there are 11 hidden party hats for you to find. There is a clue given for each of them but not to worry, we have all the locations here!

Make sure to click on the Party Hat icon to start the Scavenger Hunt!

Clue 1 – Coffee Shop

Clue 2 – Cove

Clue 3 – Dojo Courtyard

Click the hat sitting on the golden fish!

Clue 4 – Night Club

Clue 5 – Inside Mine

Clue 6 – Pet Shop

Clue 7 – Ski Village

Clue 8 – Inside Dojo

Clue 9 – Beacon (top of lighthouse)

Clue 10 – Book Shop (Coffee Shop 2nd Floor)

Clue 11 – Tip the Iceberg!

For this hat, you have to flip the iceberg! Make sure you’re wearing the Old Blue penguin colour that you collected earlier alongside your mining helmet and start drilling (press D on your keyboard)! It will take a few minutes, so stay patient and enjoy the drilling!

When you flip it over, make sure you grab both the final party hat and the free blue miners helmet!

Your Scavenger Hunt is now over so make sure to collect your prize!!
