Good morning Templars! Recently Water Vikings leader Cabin has been painting Templars as if it’s an army that’s terrible and weak for using allies and having a history. Today I will refute all of his worthless claims against our army.
Since day one of the war, the Water Vikings wanted to allow allies by default. This is outlined clearly in their war terms, quoted below:
Allied attendance is allowed by default in line with traditional CPA war rules. For allies to not be allowed, both sides must agree to it on a battle-by-battle basis.
Term 3 of the declaration also stated the following:
External involvement (i.e. external attendance from people in other armies) is allowed. External attendance though is prohibited if either the aforementioned two are enforced for a battle. Should there be external attendance for battles that have it disallowed, the battle is to be forfeited rather than the whole war. External declarations are not allowed though, making this a “1v1 war” between the two armies.
Despite explicitly allowing external involvement, WV proceeded to attempt to bar external declarations from other armies. This is completely contradictory and incompatible with the rest of the terms, and whoever approved this idea needs to be fired. We decided that regardless of if Term 3 (the term that stated this information) was valid or not we were going to use allies. This does not make the empire weak, we welcome all of the friends we have made through diplomacy to join us in our crusade once more against the Vikings!

Now that I have provided a little context, let’s get into why I’m even making a post about this in the first place. First of all, you guys created the war terms, these are YOUR conditions. If you had managed to sign a non-aggression pact with the Army of Club Penguin, you’d have undoubtedly brought more allies into this war. The Water Vikings are upset that the war terms didn’t go their way as well and have continuously shown this to us.

It’s no secret that Templars’ ally, Army of Club Penguin, has come to our aid as well as our veterans returning to the empire. The Water Vikings condemned us for this but have they condemned themselves? They owe your modern success to the shut-down of the Ice Warriors. Such behaviour seems to only be dishonorable when their enemies do it.
Given that this war is about honor, Templars will do the honorable thing and fight by your terms and win by your terms.
Speaking of contradictions, the Water Vikings have referenced our army’s past “hate speech”. It is true that the Templars used to be a server that was very relaxed in moderation, we have done much to tackle this over the years and we take such issues seriously. However, you clearly do not have a problem if your staff and high command have engaged in this behaviour. We are all for giving people second chances if they learn from their acts, but these people conducted themselves this way only recently. Does this look like an army with the moral high ground?

Our point is not to slander the Water Vikings as an army. However, there are undeniable double standards that need to be addressed.
See you on the battlefield.

I’d like to teach WuhVee a lesson in matters starting with Rye and Pandor.
