With a new generation of Templars just beginning, conversations proceeded within our leadership about what’s next. We have ideas for our army and its future and we implore the Templars to continue to grow and thrive as always.
Under the leadership of this new awakening, we personally apologize for all hateful, hurtful, and toxic behavior our army participated in. Our reputation is not the greatest, but we are remorseful for the misdoings that took place within our army. We first-hand witnessed toxicity in its purest form, and it is hard for us to accept that it is similar to how the community sees us. With deep thought, we took the community’s reasoning to heart and applied the ban from CPAH as a learning experience; developing in maturity during our time away from CPAH and working tirelessly to enact lasting changes within our army. We understand the reasoning for our ban from Club Penguin Army Hub but we wholeheartedly believe the community who voted us out deserves to hear and view the differences to begin mending the reputation of the Templars, and uphold the values we created within our army and its leadership.
Since our ban, we implemented heavier server and bot moderation. Our leadership deletes inappropriate content from chats and vigilantly observes for anything that violates Discord’s ToS. As well as working with our current leadership to ensure server safety, we carefully appointed new leaders that we trust to do likewise. Furthermore, Chainpro and Shallissa were both brought into the leadership post CPAH ban. They are both in their 20s and the Holy Council is in agreement that their presence in our army and leadership benefits the Templars by providing additional adult maturity within the army’s leadership. Also, we preach the Bible more to our enlistees and are convicted that the Holy Bible helps strengthen our cultural bond. We are beyond eager to cultivate a safe space for our soldiers and their desire to mature in their faith. Maturing everyday, our troops continue to build good values that are practiced in our server which contributes to a positive and happier social environment. Along with those changes/additions, we expressed a firm intolerance of bullying, and appall it in our server; this includes the toxicity and racism the Templars were banned for.
Our alliance with The Recon Federation of Club Penguin was terminated effective immediately in response to their utmost disgraceful and toxic deeds. The Templars endured radical racism, horrible homophobia, sick suicide jokes, manic manipulation, and bigoted bullying. We still persevere through it, even with the alliance broken. TCP regrets associating with such an appalling army. Unlike RFCP, we see our mistakes and we accept them as our own. It happened in our server and with our troops and staff, that is no one else’s fault but ours. In response, we enacted genuine change. We have made mistakes, and we own up to them—that is what differentiates from RFCP. We are at war with RFCP because they are unwilling of changing their toxic and questionable behavior—we don’t believe they ever will—and we are NOT okay with their atrocious acts that are done within their army.
This new generation of Templars will be historic, happy, and prosperous. Allowing our humble assembly back into CPAH will greatly impact our success and allow us to continue in growth and flourishment. We hope that the ownership of our mistakes, all the changes, and our battle against toxicity, will help persuade the readers of this post to accept us back into the league.
